With so many changes in store for T-Mobile customers, it’s no surprise why many are already considering leaving the carrier. This makes us wonder what is happening with T-Mobile.
In anticipation of the number of customers calling in about the recent changes the company made to its legacy plans, they already increased the number of agents handling calls. Store managers and higher-level employees were also required to be in stores for eight hours per day until Friday. After all, the recent price hike increases plans up to $5 per line per month.
To be fair, T-Mobile has clarified that the price hikes will only affect current legacy plan subscribers. As for the Go5G 55, Go5G Plus 55, and Go5G Next 55 plans, the price hike will only affect new subscribers.
Still, a number of T-Mobile customers are unhappy with the new price hike. Many are also considering their options. Android Authority shared that some customers advised filing a complaint to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to remind them that “T-Mobile promised to never increase these rates.”
Meanwhile, T-Mobile has notified affected customers with a message that reads:
“Beginning June 5, the rate of your voice plan will increase by $5.00/line per month. And the rate of your connected device plan will increase by $2.00/line per month.”
The new change will be reflected on the first bill after June 5th.
