GreatCall is now Lively

GreatCall has rebranded its name to Lively. The company revealed its new name via its Twitter account last May 20th. It also changed its Twitter name to @LivelySocial. 

Lively continues to focus on providing wireless service for seniors and their caretakers. Each of the devices that Lively offers come with a dedicated “Urgent Response” button. By pushing this button, users can speak to a nurse or a board-certified doctor during an emergency. 

Apart from the name change, there doesn’t seem to be any major changes for the MVNO. Its offerings continue to be the same. 

At the time of its acquisition, Lively has over 900,000 subscribers. It was acquired by Best Buy in August 2018 for $800 million. Lively uses the networks of Verizon.
