Earlier this week, Mint Mobile quietly gave its customers a data boost. The best part about this is that even though the data allotment on these plans have increased, their prices of the T-Mobile MVNO will remain the same.
As revealed by CNN, the new data boost will reflect on customers’ plans starting April 14th. The plans will look like this:
$15 per month - now comes with 5GB of LTE/5G data (from 4GB)
$20 per month - now comes with 15GB of LTE/5G data (from 10GB)
$25 per month - now comes with 20GB of LTE/5G data (from 15GB)
$30 per month - now comes with 40GB of LTE/5G data and 10GB of hotspot data (from 35GB of LTE/5G data and 5GB of hotspot data)
This data boost will be available to new and existing Mint Mobile customers. Mint Mobile says there’s no need to “enroll, register, or take action of any kind.”
A Twitter user shared a screenshot of an email that she received from Mint Mobile regarding the change. The email reads:
“Starting 4/14, we’re increasing the amount of data on your plan – and just like last time we did it, at no cost to you. There’s nothing you need to do … except get ready to have more data for curating playlists, binging new shows and upping your selfie game. Your upgrade will go into effect when your monthly data refreshes after 4/14.”
This is the latest news from Mint Mobile ever since T-Mobile announced its plans to acquire it.
