Nebula Wireless has shut down. The MVNO was a short-lived one, having only been on the market for six months.
As BestMVNO learned, the MVNO was acquired by the Privatel Group, which is “a collective of dedicated professionals and passionate hobbyists. Our goal is to promote an open market in the telecommunications industry. We are deeply committed to advocating for the rights of American citizens, particularly in ensuring their unrestricted access to the internet.”
But as revealed by the group, “the impending acquisition of Plum/Ultra/Mint by T-Mobile, and various economic considerations” have led the company to suspend the operations of Nebula Wireless.
The company has reached out to its customers regarding port-out details, which will be available until October 1st. Privatel Group advises customers who port-out to opt for Ultra Mobile as their old carrier.
As of this writing, Nebula Wireless customers no longer have access to their dashboard. The company has also stopped billing customers.
If you are a Nebula Wireless customer, it’s important that you process porting to a new carrier as soon as possible.
