OnePlus Acknowledges “Error” on OnePlus 12R, Offers One-Month Refund Period

Yesterday, we reported that Verizon users were having issues with the new OnePlus 12R. As it turns out, OnePlus is now giving its customers a chance to refund the OnePlus 12R for an “error” it made. 

This error had to do with a key spec that turned out to be inaccurate. OnePlus even acknowledged that the “error” was that its 12R models are equipped with UFS 3.1 storage instead of the newer 4.0 technology. 

Since this “error” disappointed some customers, OnePlus is making it easier to get a refund. They will also give customers up to March 16th to refund their devices.  

Out in the real world, the difference between UFS 3.1 and 4.0 storage speeds is barely noticeable. So if it’s a non-issue for you, you can opt to keep your device.
