Google is working on its first phone with a foldable display. And according to reports, it just might be getting ready to launch on Verizon’s network.
PhoneArena recently revealed that the Google Pixel Fold will come with Ultra Wideband mmWave 5G network support. This means that it will be compatible with Verizon’s 5G UW network. The device was allegedly spotted in the FCC’s testing room with the model number G9FPL.
Right now, however, this remains a rumor since the device has not yet been officially unveiled by Google. In addition to the carrier, there are other circulating rumors regarding the device’s specs.
Reports share that Google will keep the price of the phone to $1700, which means the Pixel Fold won't have completely stunning specs. Some of the rumored specs on the Google Pixel Fold include the following:
Internal Display: 7.6-inch with 120Hz refresh rate
Main Screen: 5.8-inch with 120Hz refresh rate
Google Tensor G2
RAM: 12GB
Storage: 256/512GB
Rear Camera: 48-megapixel main, 10.8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens
Front Camera: 9.5-megapixel
Inner Camera: 8-megapixel
Battery: 4,821mAh with 30W charging
Google has not yet announced a release date and pricing details for the Pixel Fold.
