Google has not yet officially unveiled its successor to the Pixel 7a, the Google Pixel 8a. While there are reports that this device could be revealed at next month’s Google I/O event, a recent MVNO ad seems to have leaked the device.
As spotted by GSMArena, the Pixel 8a appears to be in the middle of a recent ad released by Google Fi Wireless. Although it’s not really that obvious to the untrained eye, the tipster shared that the microphone placement of the device gave it away.
In addition to this, there were some users who thought the phone in the background of the ad could be an exclusive version.
Since the Pixel 8a has not yet been released, there’s also the possibility that this is not the device. We’ll have to wait until an official announcement is released by Google.
