Just before the 2022 year ended, Samsung set a goal for itself to send out the One UI 5 update. And as it turns out, the South Korean manufacturer was unable to complete this goal. As reported by GSMArena, Samsung is still rolling out the software update to more devices to this day.
The only models that were able to get software updates were the Galaxy A03 and Galaxy F12. Considering these two are low-end devices, it’s likely that Samsung will roll out the update to higher end devices in the future.
The report revealed that the Galaxy A03 is currently receiving the update in Serbia with firmware version A035FXXU2CVL4. Meanwhile, the Galaxy F12 is exclusively available in India, which is why the new firmware is also rolling out in the country only. The firmware version is F127GXXU3CVL4, which includes the November 2022 security patch.
If you are using either device, you can manually check if the update is already available by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
