Satellite connectivity is no longer just something people are hoping for. With AT&T’s recent partnership with AST SpaceMobile and T-Mobile’s partnership with SpaceX, this is something that will happen sooner rather than later, at least for the latter.
With Apple introducing this feature in the iPhone 14 series, Android users are wondering when they’ll be able to see this too. And it looks like select Android devices running on Android 15 will soon come with satellite connectivity support.
As reports show, it looks like T-Mobile users could soon be among the first to experience this. Some users shared on Reddit that they’ve already gained access to Satellite Messaging. You can check if this feature is available on your phone by going to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > T-Mobile.
It’s important to note that T-Mobile and SpaceX haven’t launched this feature yet so it’s not available to all users. But it should be available soon.
