T-Mobile’s new change to its P360 plan is now live.
T-Mobile postpaid and Business customers no longer have to worry about the 30-day window after device purchasing to enroll it to <Protection 360>. Devices may now be enrolled at any time as long as they pass the three-point inspection conducted in-store to help prevent fraudulent claims:
No liquid damage
No physical damage (including front and back glass)
Device must power on
According to The Mobile Report, the device insurance plan can also be added to BYOD devices.

According to reports, T-Mobile is working on releasing an update to its device insurance program, Protection 360 (P360). This new change will be welcomed by those who plan to purchase a new device at T-Mobile.
The Mobile Report gained access to insider information that revealed T-Mo’s plan to remove its 30-day enrollment restriction for its device insurance program. If this is true, new device owners no longer have a limited 30-day window to enroll their device to the program.
Through the P360 program, device users can get extensive coverage for their devices. They don’t have to worry about loss, theft, hardware malfunctions, and accidental damages that occur beyond the warranty period. And for $7 to $25 per month, they can also get unlimited screen protector replacements.
The change was expected to be announced today, but so far, T-Mobile has not made any announcements of the like. We’ll have to wait until an official announcement is revealed.
