Earlier today, T-Mobile made a decision regarding its participation in the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022.
According to the company, they will be “significantly” limiting their in-person participation at the event. Even though they are sure that the CES organizers have taken exhaustive measures to ensure the safety of each attendee, T-Mobile has decided to “prioritize the safety of our team.”
“While we are confident that CES organizers are taking exhaustive measures to protect in-person attendees and we had many preventative practices in places as well, we are prioritizing the safety of our team and other attendees with this decision.”
Despite this announcement, T-Mobile assures the public that they will continue to be a sponsor at the show. They will also be a title sponsor at the DRL Championship Race. The only difference with their decision now is that the vast majority of their team will not be traveling to Las Vegas.
Another announcement that T-Mobile made is that its CEO, Mike Sievert, will not be making a keynote speech virtually or in-person.
T-Mobile looks forward to joining CES 2023 in person, where they will offer an on-stage keynote in front of a live audience.
