Earlier this week, T-Mobile announced that selected plans will be getting a price hike. While existing customers are protected by its Price Lock guarantee, new customers will have to pay extra on specific plans. There are also a few customers who will be facing a price increase on their June bill.
Unfortunately, when asked to reveal the specific plans that are getting a price increase, T-Mobile did not go into detail. Instead, it released a statement to Android Authority, saying:
“We won’t be sharing details about which plans, and we notified included customers yesterday so they are aware.”
At this point, your best bet is that if you didn’t receive a text message from T-Mobile, you won’t be affected by the price increase. But if you received a text, you’ll likely have to face a price hike on your next bill after June 5th.
