Verizon Wireless has finally revealed the new plan upgrades it teased earlier at their live YouTube event, the “5G Ultra Show.” And as promised, these plans cost the same as before but have been given a new name. Its top-tier plan, however, now comes with unlimited monthly “premium data.” This makes Big Red at par with the other top-tier unlimited plans offered by its rivals.
Here’s a look into these new plans:
5G Start - previously Start Unlimited
5G Play More - previously Play More Unlimited
5G Do More - previously Do More Unlimited
5G Get More - previously Get More Unlimited
The major change in these plans is that the 5G Get More Unlimited plan now comes with a monthly cap once the allotted data has been reached. The new plan, however, comes with unlimited lower-speed data throttling. In addition to this, the premium mobile hotspot data on this plan has also been increased to 50GB instead of the 30GB previously allotted. Both the 5G Play More and 5G Do More have also increased their mobile hotspot allotment to 30GB instead of 15GB.
