Verizon and Google have just partnered to make Stadia more available to consumers.
Beginning January 29th, new internet customers of Verizon Fios Gigabit will get a Google Stadia Premiere Edition package for free. This package, priced at $129, comes with a Chromecast Ultra, a controller, and a Stadia Pro subscription. The package also includes discounts on other game titles and support for 5.1 surround sound and 4K resolution.
The regular pricing for Verizon’s Fios Gigabit rate plan starts at $79.99/month with autopay. The Stadia deal also stacks with Verizon’s free Disney+ offer for its Fios customers.
Considering the fact that Stadia is a new feature, Google has already several improvement measures in place for the year. Not to mention, more than 120 game titles will be making their way to Stadia this year. This includes the 10+ Stadia-exclusive games that will be introduced in the first half of the year.
