AT&T customers can now pre-order Apple's latest iPad Pro, which features the new M5 chip and significantly faster cellular speeds. Pre-orders start Friday, October 17, with devices available in stores and online starting Wednesday, October 22.
As announced by the carrier, the new iPad Pro comes with Apple's M5 processor, which delivers up to 3.5 times better AI performance compared to the previous M4 model and 5.6 times faster than the M1 version. The tablet is available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes in space black or silver.
The cellular models include Apple's C1X modem, which provides up to 50 percent faster data speeds than last year's iPad Pro. This means quicker downloads and better performance when you're away from Wi-Fi. The tablets also feature the new N1 wireless chip that supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for improved connectivity.
For people who work remotely or travel frequently, the cellular models come with eSIM capability, letting you add or switch data plans without needing a physical SIM card. You'll also get GPS and location services, plus 5G support for staying connected wherever AT&T's network reaches.
The iPad Pro features Apple's Ultra Retina XDR display and works with accessories like the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard. Storage options start at 256GB and 512GB, both now including 12GB of memory—50 percent more than previous base models.
