T-Mobile has a big announcement all set up for next week.
Earlier today, the Un-carrier teased about an upcoming event for October 27th. The teaser was spotted on T-Mobile CEO Mike Siever’s Twitter account, hinting at a new announcement for their TVision home TV service.
The teaser video shows actress Rashida Jones speaking with customer support over the phone. The actress is asking about the fees on her bill before the screen cuts to show the CEO sitting in front of his TV screen. The TV behind him shows the words “It’s On”, with the letter “O” showing a play button much like the logo of TVision. The CEO then says “You know what? It’s time.”

If this proves to be accurate, T-Mobile will likely be announcing the expansion of its TVision home TV service to more markets. Since its acquisition, the service has been launched in 8 markets, including New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Longmont, CO.
But it’s also possible that the announcement could have something to do with the rumored TVision refresh that T-Mobile has reportedly been working on. And if this is the case, the new version might be rolling out on Tuesday. Either way, we’ll know the real score on that day.
