Last week, Apple unveiled its new Apple iPhone 14 series. The four new devices did not have much difference compared to their predecessors, which was a bit disappointing for those looking for a reason to get the new iPhone 14 models. At the time of announcing, Apple did not reveal the battery capacity of these phones. And today, this information has been shared on the Chemtrec website.
In a nutshell, the battery capacities on the new iPhone 14 devices don’t differ much compared to the iPhone 13 series. But these include:
Apple iPhone 14 - 3,279mAh (iPhone 13: 3,227mAh)
Apple iPhone 14 Plus - 4,325mAh
Apple iPhone 14 Pro - 3,200mAh (iPhone 13 Pro: 3,095mAh)
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max - 4,323mAh (iPhone 13 Pro Max: 4,352mAh)
Despite the very minimal change to battery capacity, Apple has also raised the price of its battery replacement on these Apple iPhone 14 models. Previously, this would cost $69. But today, this is now priced at $99.
It’s important to note that this pricing is only applicable to device replacements outside the warranty or AppleCare+ coverage period. If your battery is malfunctioning, you can get a replacement for free.
