iPhone owners now have more reason to take good care of their devices. The prices for screen repair services of Apple’s smartphones have risen by twenty bucks. Apparently, the tech giant has chosen to introduce the changes in pricing quietly, but iOS mobile users have since taken to Reddit some time during the weekend to sound the alarm for fellow iPhone owners.
T-Mobile has recently decided to include AppleCare in its device insurance plans (which normally cost $12 per month), absolutely free of charge. According to the number three wireless carrier in the United States, customers who choose to purchase a new iPhone device or an iPad tablet will now be covered under AppleCare if they also opt to sign up for the mobile operator’s Jump! or Premium Device Protection options (more on these two later).
With all the noise that the recent unveiling of the newest iPhone models has generated, it is pretty understandable that a lot of iOS mobile users missed the fact that Apple has introduced several changes to its AppleCare+ repair program. For instance, for the longest time, the tech giant has always charged its consumers $99 for repair services of Apple devices belonging to the current generation, and then $79 for repair services of devices of the previous generation.
