Best Cellular is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that not only sells no contract wireless plans for mobile users, but also offers multi-carrier corporate plans for enterprises. Based in Colorado, the company is also selling handsets, SIM cards, and accessories, through a network of retail outlets and partner dealers. Recently, the carrier has also started to offer prepaid Internet of Things (IoT) data plans for developers who are creating solutions for IoT and M2M (machine to machine) development.
T-Mobile recently revealed that it is offering free Netflix content to its unlimited data subscribers, especially those with family plans. Specifically, the major US wireless carrier is providing free Netflix access to any customer with at least a couple of lines of service with unlimited data. For those who are under existing plans or promos who are interested in availing of the deal, they will have to upgrade to a T-Mobile One unlimited plan.
Google’s wireless service, Project Fi, which only works with the tech giant’s own branded mobile devices powered by its Android mobile operating system (more on this later), is introducing a new feature called Group Repay. This latest feature is basically an automated system that allows a customer of Project Fi to split his group plan among up to half a dozen members of that same plan.
T-Mobile is introducing a new special offer that is made available only for a limited time. In this promotional deal, the third biggest wireless carrier in the United States has decided to offer four lines of service of unlimited data for a price of $140. Specifically, users who opt to subscribe to a couple of lines of service of the mobile operator’s One Unlimited data plan will get to have a pair of extra lines of unlimited data for the price of one. To summarize:
Sprint’s prepaid arm, Boost Mobile, is introducing a new four line promotional deal called Project Switch. Basically, this latest special offer comes with four lines of service with unlimited voice calls, text messaging, and data, as well as 8 gigabytes of mobile hotspot use, for a price of $100 a month, or equivalent to only $25 for each line of service. Strictly speaking, customers will be paying $100 for the first line of service, with the second, third, and fourth line offered essentially free of charge.
More than a fortnight ago, Sprint had decided to keep the pricing of its Unlimited Freedom option consistent on the first four lines of service. That is, the first line of service is offered at $50, a couple of lines at $40 each, and then four lines at $30 each. But very recently, the major US wireless carrier is introducing a new promotional deal that basically allows customers to get an extra fifth line of service, free of charge.
It appears that Sprint’s Black Friday special offer for families or groups was a hit, because the wireless carrier has decided to extend the deal. There is no word yet on how long it will be extended, but it is a good bet it will only be for a limited time.
Sprint has announced its latest Black Friday deal and it may be its best one yet. In this newest offer, mobile users who decide to sign up for Unlimited Freedom get to have their third, fourth, and fifth lines of service free of charge. That’s three free lines with unlimited voice calls, text messaging, and data. So for a family or group consisting of five members, that means enjoying all the video streaming, music streaming, social media, and web surfing they can without having to worry about their data allowances being consumed or overage fees.
