Early this week, Google rolled out the official build of Android 13 to Pixel devices. While some were confused about getting updated to Android 12 instead of 13 (you can read more about that here), the ones who were able to update got a very important perk. Android 13 crushed a total of 151 bugs.
Google released the entire list of bugs that Android 13 exterminated. One of these bugs caused the Pixel battery to stop charging prior to reaching 100%. The OS update also helped reduce the amount of power being consumed while the phone is idle.
As noted by PhoneArena, some important Biometrics changes were also fixed on the Google Pixel 6 series. These include:
Fingerprint issue that caused intermittent disruptions in certain conditions
Fingerprint haptics latency and response during unlock
Fingerprint performance, reliability, and stability
Fingerprint unlock under lighting conditions
