It’s good to know that there are companies who are doing the best they can to address climate change. And what’s even better is that they are already doing something about the issue today and not waiting for others to solve it.
The latest to heed this call is AT&T.
At the recently conducted 2022 CTIA 5G Summit, AT&T’s EVP and GM David Christopher talked about how they plan to do their part to make cities smarter and more sustainable. One way this can be done is by re-imagining and developing cities differently from the way they used to be.
Together with JBG SMITH, AT&T will be doing its part to build the first true 5G-powered smart city in the country. This will be at National Landing in Arlington, VA. AT&T will be providing neighborhood-wide Fiber and Edge Zones to power the city.
With this, AT&T hopes it can do its part in powering one of the first earth-friendly and business-friendly cities around.
