AT&T Prepaid has made a big change to one of the hotspot/tablet plans it offers.
As revealed by BestMVNO, the flagship tablet plan now costs $90 per month and comes with 100GB of 5G data. This is a huge change considering this plan only cost $55 per month before today’s news.
But it’s also important to note that the old plan came with 50GB of high-speed data. Taking this into consideration, the price hike is actually a good deal since you get a discount for twice as much monthly data allocation on the plan.
According to @TracfoneGuy, the plan change started to take effect last June 21st. AT&T Prepaid’s website, however, has not yet been updated to reflect the new change.
As of this writing, we still don’t know whether existing customers of the plan will be grandfathered. But this is usually the case in such plan changes. We’ll update this post when we know more about AT&T Prepaid’s decision.
