It looks like some changes are happening at Consumer Cellular. As reported by BestMVNO, the AT&T and T-Mobile MVNO updated its wireless plans; including downgrading one of these plans.
The biggest change noticed with the update is that the MVNO has eliminated its plans that came with 250 minutes. This means that the $15/month plan with 250 minutes and no text messages has been upgraded to unlimited minutes. No pricing change was made.
With the changes in place, this is now what Consumer Cellular’s plan options look like:
$20/month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of shared data (was 500MB and $25/month)
$25/month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 3GB shared data (was $30/month)
$35/month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 7GB shared data (new plan)
$40/month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 10GB shared data (unchanged)
$45/month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 15GB shared data (was $50/month)
$50/month plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 50GB high-speed data (was 35GB and $60/month)
These prices are for those who enable auto-pay billing. Without auto-pay billing enrollment, there is no $5/month discount for each plan.
