Google including full support for braille displays in Android 13

Google has announced good news today! As revealed through a blog post, Android 13 will come with full support for most braille displays. 

What this means is that devices running Android 13 will now be equipped with this accessibility hardware without having to use any extra software. 

In addition to making this functionality available, Google will also be improving the Android experience with the help of new shortcuts. 

“Now there are shortcuts for navigating so it’s easier to scroll and move to the next character, word or line. There are also shortcuts for settings and for editing, like jumping to the end of documents or selecting, copying and pasting.”

As revealed in the blog post, the new support for braille will be rolling out in Google’s next Android 13 beta version release.
