It looks like some changes are underway for the Google Play Store. 9to5Google recently spotted a new change for the logo of the Android app marketplace.
While Google has chosen to keep its signature triangle shape in the logo, some subtle changes have been made. This is so users will still be able to identify the app they are opening even with the minor changes in place.
As noted, the new logo now has more rounded corners. Additionally, the four colors used in the logo now come closer to the colors being used by its parent company, Google. The new logo also appears darker compared to the existing version.
The new design is currently available in GPay and GooglePay once you make transactions on the Play Store. There is no word yet whether Google plans to make an announcement once they officially change the logo of the Play Store.
