Things are not looking well for the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro series of devices. Ever since these two devices were launched, they’ve had their fair share of problems. The latest, however, comes in the form of dead pixels on the screen.
Affected users have turned to Reddit and Google Support forums to voice out their frustrations about the issue. And as reported by TechRadar, the dead pixels seem to be affecting the front-facing camera. As a result, the cut-out appears irregular and larger than normal. But there are some who have spotted the dead pixels on the upper-right corner of the screen.
Right now, it’s unknown whether these two issues are the same. What’s even more concerning about it is that it appears to be expanding over time. This is why some people have likened it to a black hole.
There isn’t a fix for the issue as of this writing. Some device users have even opted to send in their phones for repair or replacing. Meanwhile, there are some users who say they were able to get the issue fixed via a software update.
Hopefully, Google realizes this issue is becoming a problem for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users and will release an update to take care of it soon.
