Google is getting ready to unveil its latest smartphone, the Pixel 7 series. They have an upcoming event to highlight the device next week. And just before the device makes its appearance online, we’ve also started to see leaks about the Pixel 7 series.
One of those leaks, coming from Reddit, reveals that the Pixel 7 will have a couple of new exciting features. This was accidentally revealed on the Google Play Console, which means it’s a likely credible leak.
The first feature that was leaked is that the Google Pixel 7 will be equipped with a secure version Face Unlock support. It’s been ages since we last saw this feature available on a Pixel smartphone. Prior to this release, the only Pixel phones that were equipped with Face Unlock were the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.
The other feature that is said to be included in the Pixel 7 series is eSIM MEP support. Through this feature, users can have two different eSIMs on the phone at the same time.
Google is set to launch the Pixel 7 series officially on October 6th so we’ll know more about these features at that event.
