It’s a new month! And that means Google has released the latest Android security patch for October 2022. This security update marks the second patch for Android 13’s stable build.
Google recently released the October security for Pixel devices. The update comes with a total of 15 vulnerabilities in its framework and system components. Meanwhile, there are 33 total vulnerabilities in the kernel and vendor components. Google has listed down the CVE numbers, threat severity, type of vulnerability, and affected OS version/component.
The October security update has rolled out to Pixel 4, Pixel 4a, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6a models. The latest release has a build number that reads TP1A.221005.002. For the Pixel 6a, it’s build number TP1A.221005.003.
