After releasing its latest Android 13 OS update to Pixel devices last month, Google is now addressing the bugs that were reported. The software giant is currently rolling out the September 2022 update that includes patches that will fix the issues that early adopters faced. Some of the patches included in the September 2022 update include fixes for disabled wireless charging and unexpected battery drain.
For Google Pixel 6A users, the patch includes a fix for the fingerprint scanner. It was previously reported that Pixel 6A users complained about their phone unlocking a finger that they didn’t register or with the fingerprint of another person. Unfortunately, the patch for this specific bug will be released later this month.
Another issue that the update fixes is the battery drain. Google says the issue is caused by a launcher background activity. For users who are still experiencing faulty wireless charging, the update will restore the functionality on Pixel 4, 4 XL, 5, 6, and 6 Pro.
The other issues that will be fixed by the September patch include lock screen notifications and Bluetooth connectivity issues.
