This year, Carl Pei launched his new Nothing Phone 1 to select markets. Unfortunately, the US was not included in the initial launch. But as Android Authority reports, some customers in the US may soon be able to get their hands on the device.
In a tweet, Pei revealed that the Phone 1 will be available to select markets in the US. The device will be available with the Android 13 beta program for an unspecified number of people. The tweet reads:
“Preparing for a US launch
While Android 13 Open Beta is gradually being rolled out in our existing markets, we will be extending it to the US market via a testing program with access to Phone (1). Would love to get feedback from our community there. Stay tuned.”
Right now, there’s no word on when the device will be available and whether this will be seeded, sold, or loaned out to users who will take part in the Android 13 beta program. We’ll have to keep an eye out for further announcements on his Twitter account.
