Google is working on a Pixel Tablet that is very promising. And thanks to a report, we’re getting more information about what to expect from this mystery device.
Developer Kuba Wojciechowski has been sharing details about the Android tablet for a few weeks now. Some of the information he revealed include a 10.95-inch display, Google’s first-gen Tensor SoC, and either 128GB or 256GB onboard storage. Reportedly, the tablet will also include Wi-Fi 6 support, a first-party USI 2.0 stylus, and two Sony IMX355 sensors.
Other sources have also revealed that this tablet may just be the first to launch with Android 13 64-bit only version. This will allow USI stylus support and docking capabilities.
As of this writing, the Pixel Tablet has already entered the EVT (Engineering Validation Test) phase, which means that the design and hardware of the tablet has already been finalized. According to reports, Google already sent some units to India for EVT and certification. It’s possible that the tablet will launch in India first before making its way to other parts of the world.
There are other reports that Google is working on a Pixel Pro Tablet version. But nothing much has been reported about this so far. We’ll know more once Google makes the announcement official.
