T-Mobile introduced Price Lock a few years ago as a guarantee that it won’t make sudden changes to the price of its plans to existing customers. Unfortunately, it looks like the Un-carrier has made a change to Price Lock.
As reported by The Mobile Report, T-Mobile changed its Price Lock policy on new customers and service changes.
According to the report, if T-Mobile makes a price change that is enough to make you want to switch, it will pay your final month’s bill. The catch here is that you need to maintain a good standing on your account. You’ll also need to notify T-Mobile 60 days prior to your decision of leaving the network.
The change went live on January 18th so if you are a new customer, this is the new policy that Price Lock provides. Otherwise, older customers will not have to worry about the change unless they make changes to their plan.
