Comcast has unveiled a number of new 5G plans for its mobile service, Xfinity Mobile. In its announcement, Comcast promised to offer “the lowest ever prices for unlimited data for new and existing customers.”
Starting today, Xfinity Mobile will be offering by-the-gig and unlimited 5G plans for customers. The good thing about signing up with Xfinity is that you won’t get locked to a plan. You can mix and match between the two options.
Xfinity Mobile’s unlimited plan starts at $45/month for a single line. Additional lines get cheaper the more lines you add. If you add four lines on a plan, you will pay $30/month/line.
If you opt for a by-the-gig plan, the price of the plans are:
$15 - comes with unlimited calls, texts, and 1GB of 5G data
$30 - comes with unlimited calls, texts, and 3GB of 5G data
$60 - comes with unlimited calls, texts, and 10GB of 5G data
Once you reach the 20GB limit per line, your speed will get reduced.
In order to sign up with Xfinity Mobile, you will need to have a Comcast Xfinity Internet plan already. Xfinity Mobile runs under Verizon’s network.
