If you’re among those who’ve been waiting to get their hands on the Google Pixel 6a, Google announced some good news today! The device will finally be available for pre-order… in the next couple of days.
The Google Pixel 6a made its official debut at Google IO 2022 held two months ago. The device is said to be one of the biggest releases among the mid-range phone market. Because of this, many already have high expectations for the device. And this naturally means that the device is in demand.
As revealed by 9to5Google, the device will soon be making its way to Amazon for pre-orders. This means you can pre-order the device starting July 21st.
The report also noted a couple of mistakes in the Amazon listing. First, the listing claims that the device comes with wireless charging support– something that Google did not announce. Another blunder is that the Pixel 6a is listed with the same chipset that the upcoming Pixel 7 will be available in. While both devices will have Tensor chipsets, the Pixel 6a will run the original version that debuted with the Pixel 6. The Pixel 7, on the other hand, will use the Tensor v2 chipset.
The Amazon listing reveals that the device will be available in three colors: Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage. The device lists for $449.
