T-Mobile seems to never run out of promos and special offers. Just very recently, the carrier has announced that it will give a free one year subscription of Netflix to any customer who buys the Samsung Galaxy S6, or its curvy sibling, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge from its stores.
This special offer will run from March 27th until April 9th. Although it has not been confirmed yet, many believe that March 27th also marks the date in which T-Mobile will start accepting preorders for Samsung's newest flagship devices.
As indicated on T-Mobile's Galaxy S6 web page, customers will have to put in for their free one year subscription code by May 21st, and then redeem it from Netflix by June 20th. Specifically, T-Mobile will be covering one year of Netflix's two-stream plan, which normally costs $8.99 a month. Computed for 12 months, that would be equivalent to a little more than $100.
For now, it is not certain yet where this special offer is exclusive to T-Mobile. The Galaxy S6's registration page does kind of suggest that the promo may have come directly from Samsung. If that holds true, we may be seeing other wireless carriers promoting a similar promo in the coming days or weeks.
There has been a lot of anticipation for the upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge devices. While Samsung has stated that both devices will start shipping on April 10th this year, no wireless carrier in the United States has yet confirmed their own released dates for the highly anticipated handsets.
Moreover, with regards to preorders for the new Galaxy smartphones, among the major wireless carriers in the US, only Verizon Wireless has provided a date. Come April 1st, the Big Red will start accepting preorders for both Samsung flagship devices.
The past few weeks have certainly seen T-Mobile introduce special offers after another. Just about a week ago, the carrier announced that it will be buying out the equipment installment or leasing plans for customers who will be switching to T-Mobile. Also, T-Mobile also introduced a new simplified pricing plan for businesses.
And now with this Galaxy S6/Galaxy S6 Edge and Netflix promo, it is not that surprising that T-Mobile would be the first major wireless carrier in the US to make this kind offer, considering how aggressive the carrier has always been in its efforts to attract new customers to its fold.
