This means that soon, you are going to get some of your money back.
If you are still in doubt, you can head on to Sprint's website and see for yourself.
With this latest development, the total retail price of the Sprint Nexus 6 is now down to $648 from $696. That makes Sprint's device exactly one buck cheaper than the carrier-free version sold on Google Play.
Also, the reduced price will only apply to the 32 gigabyte Midnight Blue edition, which makes a lot of sense because this version of the Nexus 6 phablet is the only variant being offered by Sprint.
Those who previously bought their Nexus 6 devices between November 14th to 18th can expect to receive an SMS message notifying them of the $50 refund for the price difference. As of now, the reimbursement method is still being finalized by Sprint. However, the affected customers will be notified in due time when the reimbursements gets under way.
By lowering the price of its Nexus 6, Sprint has now brought itself closer price-wise to other carriers. For instance, AT&T is offering its Nexus 6 at $249.99 with a two-year contract. At T-Mobile, you can get the phablet by paying $27.08 each month for two years (24 months). And as mentioned earlier, if you want to get it from Google Play, you will have to pay the full retail price of $649. Sprint's pricing newly revamped pricing structure for the Nexus 6 more or less echoes those above.
Aside from lowering the price of its Nexus 6, the carrier is also a discount for its LG G2 phone. Beginning on November 21st, the Sprint LG G2 will come with a $139.99 Installment Billing (IB) Instant Discount added to it.
