AT&T customers, it looks like your carrier is making some changes to its Pay-As-You-Go plan options.
A Redditor recently shared an announcement from the carrier that read, “AT&T “Retires” Pay-As-You-Go Plans.” The message reads:
“Effective January 5, 2022 the $2 and .25 per minute plans are being retired. You can continue use these plans as long as your account remains active.”
Yes, that is a direct quote from the carrier and comes with a grammatical error.
After checking, the Redditor also noted that the option to switch plans from the online account dashboard has been removed.
As of this writing, we still don’t have a clue what AT&T intends to do with this. We’re hoping they give an explanation since many of their customers enjoyed these Pay-As-You-Go plans.
