2016 was a forgettable year for Apple -- the phone maker after all saw its iPhone sales decrease for the first ever in its history last year, leading some to think that the company might not be that mighty after all. But after a robust holiday season, Apple seems to have regained its bearings, and analysts from Wall street appear to agree.
T-Mobile has recently decided to include AppleCare in its device insurance plans (which normally cost $12 per month), absolutely free of charge. According to the number three wireless carrier in the United States, customers who choose to purchase a new iPhone device or an iPad tablet will now be covered under AppleCare if they also opt to sign up for the mobile operator’s Jump! or Premium Device Protection options (more on these two later).
Last week, it has been reported that T-Mobile was selling some of its flagship smartphone devices at a blowout sale price. This move was largely speculated as a way for the carrier to clear out their shelves in time for the release of new smartphone models. In recent developments, it looks like this could actually be happening.
For most of last year, fans of Apple were not that happy (well, compared to past years). You can not blame them actually -- 2016 only offered a limited number of updates to popular products, especially the Mac and the iPhone, whose latest model said goodbye to the headphone jack. On top of that, the normally proficient company had a few stumbles and questionable -- delaying the release of its AirPods wireless headphones and releasing a new Apple Watch that never really felt quite new.
After posting a holiday season smartphone sales performance for the ages, Apple is now the biggest seller of smartphone device in the world, dethroning Samsung in the process -- well, at least according to information offered by
The last three months of any given year is always a good time for Apple. But the final quarter of 2016 was a record breaking one for the tech giant. In that period, the company registered its best ever quarterly iPhone sales (thanks to the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus), selling 78.3 million units of its smartphone devices.
Here is some good news for iOS mobile users, especially those who already own the headphone jack-less iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and are looking to get hold of wireless earphones -- Apple’s AirPods are made available to order from the tech giant’s Online Store.
