Three weeks after it was officially unveiled, LG’s newest flagship -- the G7 ThinQ -- is now made available for preordering from three major US carriers, with industry leader Verizon Wireless starting the ball rolling today, while T-Mobile and Sprint to follow suit tomorrow. It should still be noted though that the phablet will not launch until June 1st.
When Samsung had officially released the first of its flagship device offerings this year -- the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus -- back in March, it had only made 64 gigabyte editions of the models available for sale from wireless carriers in the United States. But now, the number one smartphone vendor in the planet is now expanding the range of storage capacity options for the latest additions to the Galaxy S lineup of high end handsets.
More than a month ago, Sony had updated its Xperia XZ lineup of smartphone devices by formally announcing the Xperia XZ2 and the Xperia XZ2 Compact models just in time for this year’s Mobile World Congress event (held in the beautiful city of Barcelona in Spain back in February early this year).
Despite its recent setbacks, Huawei should still deserve a lot of credit for the way it has continued to build its impressive Honor lineup of smartphones. One of the newest additions to this range of handsets is the Honor View 10, which the world’s third biggest seller of mobile devices is eagerly positioning as an affordable choice for those looking to purchase a device with decent specs but do not have the money to buy a flagship offering.
There is no doubt about it -- some Android fans will already be itching to get their hands on Samsung’s newest flagship devices, the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus phablets. Well, they will not have to wait for long -- the handsets will be made available for preordering starting on March 2nd, and exactly two weeks later on March 16th, the South Korean tech giant’s newest toys will hit store shelves everywhere.
Over the weekend, Samsung officially unveiled its latest additions to its ever impressive Galaxy S lineup of smartphone devices. Meet the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus, which feature some serious camera upgrades, Qualcomm’s super fast Snapdragon 845 chip, a headphone jack, and augmented reality emoji stickers, among many others.
Whoa. It turns out there was a secret fourth new color for the Essential Phone. Earlier this week, Essential had revealed that it was introducing three new limited edition colors of its flagship device. These colors are Copper Black, Ocean Depths, and Stellar Gray. The Ocean Depths color option is actually already made available by way of Essential’s official website. As for the Stellar Gray and Copper Black versions, they are coming on February 20th and February 22nd, respectively.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day (or maybe the Chinese New Year celebration), OnePlus has decided to introduce a Lava Red colored variant to its OnePlus 5T phablet. The Lava Red OnePlus 5T will officially make its debut on February 6th, and will come with a price of $559 with 128 gigabytes of built in memory.
